Side Trails

Sparkling stars spill across a dashed border in this modern, asymmetric layout.  All angles are achieved with stitch-and-flip techniques so there are no triangles to cut and sew.  Strip piecing makes the dashed border quick and easy to assemble.  While the cover quilt uses bright tone-on-tone fabrics on a dark background, the design would be equally stunning in solids or monochromatic prints on a dark or light background.  

Quilt measures 55.5” x 76.5”.
