At first glance this delicate design appears to be set on point but the diagonal elements are achieved with a simple straight setting.  Confident beginner-friendly assembly techniques were chosen to eliminate cutting and sewing triangles, and the small squares are a breeze to piece with strip piecing.  Add the border for a classic look or skip it for more modern appeal.  

Pattern includes fabric requirements, with and without the border,  for three sizes: 

• Throw: 51” x 69” or 60” x 78

• Twin: 69” x 87” or 78” x 96”

• Queen:  87” x 87” or 97” x 97”
