Hoarfrost

Crisp 12" snowflake blocks on a simple background are framed with a pieced border reminiscent of hoarfrost crystals to make a stunning winter themed quilt. Snowflakes are foundation paper pieced, with trimmed tips on the foundation templates to help you line up sections accurately. Pieced border uses stitch-and-flip (lost corners) construction.   The scrappy quilt background is a great stash-buster. 

Finished quilt will be 48" x 60".

Please note that a knowledge of foundation paper piecing techniques is assumed for the paper pieced blocks. Master templates are included for you to print or copy as needed onto the foundation of your choice.
